CUSTOM TROUBLESHOOTING & MAINTENENCE

Software Service

If you have a software program that’s giving you trouble, We can get it back in line. Just call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep out to you to fix any quirks and add any upgrades to the software that you need. Service excludes operating system repair.

Operating System Installations

Is your computer stuck in ’98? (Windows 98, that is). Just contact an EPC Rep at us and we’ll come out to your home and get you up-to-speed. EPC Reps will help evaluate what operating system is right for you and make sure your new system is installed properly, so you’ll be good to go. Software not included.

Software Install or Anti-spyware Install

Take the guesswork and hassle out of getting your new program up and running on your computer. From tax preparation software to anti-spyware, we will get you set up with whatever utility or productivity title you’ve purchased. Just call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep out to install the new software and make sure all systems are go. Service excludes operating system installation.

Antivirus Install

The problem with today’s villainous viruses is that you probably won’t even know they are in your PC until it’s too late. Thankfully, our EPC Reps are standing by to take the case. Just call us to arrange for an EPC Rep to come out to your home and get your computer set up with antivirus software. After installation, we’ll update the software with the latest definitions so your defenses are up-to-speed. Additional charges apply for removal of viruses that have already infected your computer. Price of software not included with service)

Wireless Network Setup

A wireless network allows you to share your high-speed internet connection with every PC in your home. Which means you can browse the web from your laptop in the backyard, print from your couch and email work from your bed.

We can add that flexibility to your home computing experience. Just call us to arrange for an EPC Representative to come to your home or office and setup your wireless network.

The Wireless Network Setup includes:

Installation of a router and applicable cards to a high-speed source between 2 computers (wired or wireless). Note: Any additional computer (more than 2) added to the network will be $35.Configuration of router settings — Username/Password, SSID and WEP — to encrypt your network. Thus securing it from rogue intruders that lurk on the internet and keeping the next door neighbors out.Verification of Connection – make sure that all the networked computers are able to share and print (if applicable).

After your network is up and running, the EPC Rep will walk you through the Operating System file, print sharing, and discuss any network limitations that you might have. If you would like, the EPC Rep can also give you a demonstration on power cycling procedures and virus/spyware security education. Lastly, you get a wireless trouble-shooting brochure that gives you tips for what to do if you have any issues with a connection — plus information about your secure network.

Add a Device to an Existing Network

Expand the mighty kingdom of your network! Whether it’s wired or wireless, we will come out to your home to add your new computer to your existing network. We’ll install a network card in the PC and set you up so that your file and print sharing is connected to your shared network resources. Call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep right over to get you hooked up. This service applies to one local computer. Access Point, Router and Broadband setup/installation are not included.

Broadband Service

Ready to jump into the fast lane on the information superhighway? Or are you having problems with your current high-speed service? We will get you up and running, online, in no time. Just call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep out to get you started with a new broadband account — or get you back up if your connection’s down because of a faulty modem, router, or cabling. Note: Additional charges may apply for restoring computer access to network resources.

Media Center plus Network Setup

Have an EPC Rep configure your entire home wireless network around your Media Center computer and you will bask in the glory of it all. Just call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep right out to set up your wireless network and get your Media Center computer and broadband service connected. We’ll hook up the cabling for your Media Center computer or Media Center computer extender to your TV and/or receiver and remove the cabling for the A/V components that you don’t need anymore — such as a DVD player or TiVo. Note: This service does not include universal remote programming or setup of home theater and A/V equipment that is not part of the Media Center computer setup. Home theater installation is available at a separate service fee. See local home theater departments for details. Hardware not included.

Broadband Phone Wiring Conversion

Want to take advantage of broadband phone service through the existing phone jacks in your home? EPC Reps can make it possible in most newer homes. Not available in all areas. Call us to see if the service is available in your area. If it is, we’ll send an EPC Rep out to get you set up. Hardware not included.

Network Storage Device Setup

Don’t roll the dice with your data. Let us add a network storage device to your wired network so you can keep your personal information backed up and stored in a safe spot. Just call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep out to add your NAS device to your existing network with file and print sharing between the network resources. Note: This service applies to one local computer. Access point, router and broadband setup/installation are not included

Dial-up Service

Whether you need to get set up with a new dial-up account or you just need to restore the connection with your current service (such as MSN, Earthlink or AOL), we can get you up and running on the web. Just call us and we’ll deploy an EPC Rep to your home to get you online in no time. ISP not included.

Online Console Gaming Setup

Get your game on with a total online console gaming setup from EPC. Just call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep out to your pad and get you rolling with everything you need. We’ll configure your system, give you a security encryption and set up the wireless router between your PC, Xbox, Xbox 360 or PS2 gaming console and high-speed Internet connection. Note: Hardware and software not included. The consultation does not include tips on relationships or small engine repair

Home Theater Device Networking

Itching to enhance and expand your entertainment experience? Adding a wireless media device, such as a Roku digital music player or Slingbox, lets you watch your shows and listen to your tunes in more places. We can hook your device up to your existing network and make it happen. Just call us to arrange for an EPC Rep to come out to your home or office and get you rolling. Note: Access point, router and broadband setup/installation are not included with this service. Hardware not included.

We have the technology to make it faster — and it doesn’t cost millions of dollars either. Speed up your computer, old or new, by upgrading your memory (RAM) to accommodate your computing needs. Just swing your PC by Elite Pc Fusion and let our EPC Reps work their magic. Service includes installation of one stick of memory. Hardware not included. Reverberating sound effects while moving in slow motion — no extra charge.

Optical Drive Install

Aspiring musicians and filmmakers — take heed. If making music or movies from home is your bag of chips, having an optical drive installed on your PC is a giant step in the right direction. If your computer doesn’t have it already, an optical drive gives it CD/DVD readability — but more importantly, it’s ideal for working with music and movie creation software programs. The drive also gives you tons of data backup and storage space to safely keep your numerous projects. Want one? Call us and an EPC Rep will come to your home and get you rolling. We’ll install an optical drive into your computer’s chassis; then test its read/write capabilities in a windows environment to make sure you’re ready to rock. Hardware not included.

Hard Drive Install

Warning: Don’t let your PC max out! To get the most out of your files, photos and music, you need a hard drive that can handle them. If you fear that you’re running out of space, call us and have an EPC Rep come out to you and assess the situation. After determining what you need, we’ll install and configure a new drive that will have your PC running at peak performance. Hardware not included.

I/O Card Install

Looking to boost your gaming experience to the next level? Whether you need a new graphics card or any other Internal card installed into your desktop, just call us and an EPC Rep will be on the way over to hook you up. Hardware not included.

PC Setup and System Customization

Now when you purchase a new PC, you no longer have to worry about plugging the wrong what-have-you into the wrong plug-thingy. Just call us and we’ll send an EPC Rep out to your house to get your system all fixed up from scratch. Once you’re set up, we’ll customize your computer to best suit your needs and remove the unnecessary applications. Plus, we’ll get you rolling with all the recent patches and critical updates you need — and install a software title and a peripheral for you.

Operating System Service

Is your PC reacting sluggishly and not performing the way it should? Getting pop-ups, unexplained web sites or other strange computer behavior? Seeing the dreaded blue screen of death? You may have a virus, spyware or a corrupt operating system. When computers go bad, we can save the day. Give us a jingle at us and we’ll send an elite EPC Rep out to you. Whatever the malfunction, EPC Reps can remove and/or repair what is causing the damage. Diagnostic not included.

Data Migration (Back Up)

So you’ve had your computer for ages and desperately need a new PC — but you don’t want to lose all of the documents and files on your old system. No problem. We can seamlessly transfer all of the data you want to keep from your old computer onto your new one. Or if it’s PC-to-laptop (or to a storage device) migration you need, we do that, too. Just give us a call at us and we’ll send an EPC Rep out to your home to take care of the job. And not to worry — you’ll get a complete explanation of how to access your data that’s been moved.
